About Beth....
My mission is to create a community of like-minded, powerful people that support change in themselves and one another for and to the higher good of all.
That said, I have lived a life full of adventure, challenges, joy and disappointments. I am a mother of three adopted children from foster care, one stepson, and eight rescued animals. I have been married, divorced, remarried and survived an abusive relationship. Basically, I've been there and done that.
I spent 20+ years in corporate America and my desire to make a difference in peoples' lives overrode the desire to sell my soul for the almighty dollar. But I did earn my pedigree along the way with a MBA and a MS in Finance.
The pursuit of knowledge is one of my passions and I am pursuing a Natural Physicians degree from the School of Natural Medicine, Int'l in Boulder, CO and a Doctorate in Theology from the American Institute of Holistic Theology. As I complete learning modules, certificates and diplomas, I incorporate the studies into my practice. My goal is to give the patient the tools to heal themselves, not be dependent on me, my practice, or any form of drug or medicine.
Giving back is a very important part of my value system. I am a volunteer with Compassionate Care Hospice for the eleventh hour and companionship/respite care. I also provide foster care for animals with Denver Dumb Friends League and Every Creature Counts, although at my husband's request, I have backed off of that venue. I am a sucker for those furry little faces and have a hard time returning them.
In my spare time, I can be found traveling with my family, hiking, skiing, backpacking and training for various races from duathlons to triathlons. I love what I do and I do what I love. Does it get any better than that?
